Hi, my name is Hannah Fowler and I am the Property Manager at Mahogany Breezes.

 

This property was purchased by my family in 2009 and was my home for over a decade. Initially, the land was untouched with only the hollow structure of a house standing in the centre. Instead of bulldozing and flattening the surrounding natural forest, we decided to find a way to incorporate the unique landscape into our renovation plans and design. The result? Two acres of beautiful gardens with stone paths winding through the natural Cayman forest. Meticulously hand marking and identifying local, rare and endangered trees, my dad hand cut these paths ensuring to keep as much local fauna as possible. This allowed all of our local wildlife to remain undisturbed, and now, all visitors can enjoy and observe some of Cayman's most unique wildlife up close and personal.

It is our hope that by sharing our home we can inspire other people in Cayman to preserve Cayman's natural environment.
